Functional Training SA is a group training facility at Randpark United Church, 46 Tin Road, Bromhof, Randburg, Gauteng. Nick Gindre is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website, and the person to contact about anything on this page.

If you fill in the enquiry form we collect your name, email address, phone number and whatever you write in the message box. We use it for one thing: to reply to you about training. We do not sell it, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not share it with anyone beyond what is needed to deliver that email.

You can also reach us on WhatsApp instead, in which case WhatsApp holds that conversation under its own terms rather than ours.

• Resend delivers the enquiry email to us.
• Vercel hosts the website and keeps standard server logs.
• Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel measure how people find and use the site. Neither one loads unless you accept cookies.

Nothing that tracks you loads before you say yes. When you first arrive you get a banner with two options, and until you choose, no analytics or advertising script is requested at all. Declining is one click, exactly like accepting.

If you accept, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel set cookies that recognise a returning browser and tell us which pages get read and which buttons get pressed. If you decline, neither script is loaded and neither cookie is set.

Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage, which is not shared with us or anyone else. Change your mind any time using the Cookie choices link at the bottom of the site, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Enquiry emails stay in our inbox while there is a reason to keep them, and we clear out ones that went nowhere. Ask us to delete yours and we will. Server logs roll over on our host’s own schedule. Analytics data is retained on Google and Meta’s terms.

The Protection of Personal Information Act gives you the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to us using it. Email or phone us and we will do it. There is no form to fill in and no charge.

If you are not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.

This site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18 through it. If a parent or guardian is enquiring on behalf of a young person, send us your own details rather than theirs.

If we change how any of this works we will change this page and update the date at the top. There is no version history, so if the date has moved, something has changed.
